Dachstein Tauern Golf & Country Club
In just a few minutes you reach the Dachstein Tauern Golf & Country Club, designed by professional player Bernhard Langer. The 18-hole golf course (par 71) nestles into the picturesque Styrian landscape with is varied holes, fairways and greens. You will encounter 52 bunkers and numerous water hazards on your game played out against the backdrop of the Schladminger Tauern and the Dachstein Mountains. The mix of simple holes with holes of varying degrees of difficulty creates the unique character of this golf course.
A member of the Leading Golf Courses Austria since 1999, the Dachstein Tauern Golf & Country Club also offers a few details that cannot be found on any other golf course. At every tee a tee marker provides useful information – from standard information through to notable features. The Halfway House provides not only shade, it also furnishes you with drinks and balls and is ideal for having a little rest halfway through a game. And where else can you find a mobile drinks service to provide you with refreshments when the Halfway House or the Clubhouse are too far away?
