Skiing in Ski amadé is… incredibly varied. A whopping 760 kilometres of pistes, including 275 kilometres of blue, 390 kilometres of red and 95 kilometres of black pistes are just waiting to be explored.
Schladming is known for its excellently groomed pistes on the Planai, which offer something for everyone´s wishes and skiing skills.
Families with children and recreational skiers will find wide, sunny south-facing slopes, while demanding skiers can follow in the footsteps of the world champions and compete on the FIS downhill run, where the spectacular night slalom is held every year.

4-mountain ski area
The Schladming 4-mountain ski area in Ski amadé connects the famous Hauser Kaibling, Planai, Hochwurzen and Reiteralm ski mountains to create a unique offer in Austria:
123 kilometers of pistes and 44 modern cable lifts non-stop. Alongside the Hochwurzen, the Planai is the central hub of the ski area and is just a few minutes’ walk from the Sporthotel Royer.
The ultra-modern Planai main cable car ensures a comfortable ride. Long waiting times are a thing of the past thanks to the new 10-seater gondola lift. The panoramic glazing of the new cable lift provides a unique panoramic view of the Schladminger Tauern and the Dachstein massive.
