The Golf & Country Club Dachstein Tauern, which was designed by professional golfer Bernhard Langer, is just a few minutes away. The 18-hole golf course (par 71) nestles into the picturesque Styrian landscape with its varied fairways and greens.

Set against the magnificent panorama of the Schladminger Tauern and Dachstein mountains, you will encounter 52 bunkers and plenty of water during your game. The mixture of easy holes and holes of varying difficulty is what gives the golf course its special character, and the Golf & Country Club Dachstein Tauern, a member of the Leading Golf Courses Austria since 1999, also has some details to offer that you won’t find on other golf courses. For example, a tee marker at every tee provides interesting facts – from standard information to special features.
The halfway house not only provides shade, it also supplies you with drinks and balls and is ideal for taking a short break after half a game. And where else can you find a mobile drinks service to provide you with refreshments if it’s too far to the halfway house or clubhouse? 18 km from Schladming you will find the Radstadt Golf Club. The distance from the 11th green to the 12th tee is covered by a modern gondola lift (approx. 250 meters long). This is the only golf gondola lift in the world.
